In short
- We use cookies to keep you signed in, to keep the platform secure, and to remember your language and display settings.
- We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral tracking. There is nothing here to sell to advertisers, and we do not sell it.
- Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary or that you have asked for by changing a setting, you will not see a consent banner in most places. That is not an oversight. There is nothing to consent to.
- You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but signing in will stop working.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Related technologies do similar jobs: local storage keeps small amounts of data in your browser, and a service worker lets the app work as an installable application on your phone. This policy covers all of them and calls them all "cookies" for simplicity.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary
These make the Service work. They cannot be turned off, and under EU and UK law they do not require consent because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Functional
These remember a choice you have made. They are set because you changed a setting, and clearing them just returns you to the defaults.

Analytics
We use a privacy-focused analytics service to count page views and measure loading performance in aggregate.
It does not use cookies, does not create a persistent identifier for you, does not track you across other websites, and does not receive your profile data, your messages, or any consumer health data. It tells us how many people visited a page and how quickly it loaded, and nothing about who they are.
Bug reporting
A feedback widget is loaded so members and testers can report faults with a screenshot. It collects what you submit in a report and technical details about your browser at that moment. It runs only when you open it, and it loads after the page, so it never delays the app.
What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies.
- Social media tracking pixels.
- Data broker or audience-matching tags.
- Cross-site tracking of any kind.
- Cookies that collect consumer health data.
3. Why you may not see a cookie banner
EU and UK law requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary or not required to deliver a service you have asked for. Our functional cookies are set because you changed a setting, and our analytics are cookieless and do not identify you.
If we ever introduce a cookie that genuinely requires consent, we will ask for it properly, with a reject option as easy to find and use as the accept option, and we will update this policy first.
4. Managing cookies
In your browser you can view, delete, and block cookies. Every major browser explains how in its help pages, and most have a private browsing mode that discards everything at the end of the session.
Be aware: if you block or delete our strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in, and the Service will not work.
On your phone, uninstalling the installed app clears its stored data. Clearing site data in your browser does the same for the browser version.
Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. Since we do not sell or share personal information or run targeted advertising, it does not change how we handle your data, but it is recognized and respected.
5. Changes
If we change what we use, we will update this policy and change the version number and effective date. Where a change requires your consent, we will ask before it takes effect.
